Hi, I'm Mia!

I'm a freshman at Parish Episcopal School with a love for math, movement, and making people laugh. Born April 2, 2011, and currently living that exciting 14-year-old life! My friends describe me as nice, funny, and unserious—and honestly, that pretty much sums me up. I'm both creative and logical (yes, you can be both!), and I'm definitely a texter over a caller.

Dance is my everything. It's where you'll find me hanging out, practicing, and expressing myself, it's the talent I'm most proud of and basically my whole vibe. When I'm not dancing, I'm probably binge-watching Stranger Things or On My Block, reading Everything Everything, or jamming out to Bad Bunny. I love adventures (traveling, theme parks, exploring new places) but I won't say no to a cozy night in either. 

You'll usually catch me keeping it simple in jeans and a top, sipping on a Fresca, and always ready for ice cream (the best dessert, no debate).

Green is my favorite color, and if I were an animal, I'd be a monkey (playful, energetic, and always up to something fun). If my life were a movie, It'd be called "Crazy" because that's exactly what it feels like most days. One of my favorite childhood memories is the one time my brother actually agreed to play dolls with me. It only happened once, but it was legendary! 

Being 14 meant becoming a freshman in high school, and that's a chapter I'll never forget. Looking ahead, I'm dreaming big. I want to be a doctor someday and travel to Bora Bora, Japan, and Korea. My big five-year goal is to discover what else I'm passionate about beyond dance, because I know there's more out there for me to love. If I could meet anyone in the world, it would hands down be Bad Bunny!

Oh, and here's a fun secret: I have this weird talent for making noises with my mouth (don't ask me to demonstrate unless you're ready to laugh). One thing you should never forget about me? My personality, that's what makes me, me!

Soy estudiante de primer año en Parish Episcopal School y me encantan las matemáticas, el movimiento y hacer reír a los demás. Nací el 2 de abril de 2011 y actualmente estoy viviendo esa emocionante etapa de los 14 años. Mis amigos dicen que soy buena onda, divertida y nada seria… y la verdad, eso me describe bastante bien. Soy creativa y lógica al mismo tiempo (sí, ¡se puede ser ambas!), y definitivamente prefiero mandar un texto que hablar por teléfono.

El baile lo es todo para mí. Ahí es donde paso mi tiempo, practicando y expresándome; es el talento del que me siento más orgullosa y básicamente mi esencia. Cuando no estoy bailando, probablemente estoy viendo Stranger Things o On My Block, leyendo Everything, Everything, o escuchando música de Bad Bunny. Me encantan las aventuras —viajar, ir a parques temáticos, explorar lugares nuevos— pero tampoco le digo que no a una noche tranquila en casa.

Casi siempre me verás con jeans y una blusa sencilla, tomando una Fresca y lista para un helado (el mejor postre, sin discusión).

El verde es mi color favorito y, si fuera un animal, sería un mono: juguetona, enérgica y siempre tramando algo divertido. Si mi vida fuera una película, se llamaría “Crazy”, porque así se siente la mayoría de los días. Uno de mis recuerdos favoritos de la infancia fue la única vez que mi hermano aceptó jugar muñecas conmigo. Solo pasó una vez… ¡pero fue legendario!

Tener 14 años significó empezar la preparatoria, una etapa que jamás voy a olvidar. Mirando hacia el futuro, sueño en grande. Quiero ser doctora algún día y viajar a Bora Bora, Japón y Corea. Mi meta en los próximos cinco años es descubrir qué otras pasiones tengo además del baile, porque sé que hay mucho más por amar y explorar. Y si pudiera conocer a alguien en el mundo, sin duda sería a Bad Bunny.

Ah, y un secreto divertido: tengo un talento extraño para hacer sonidos con la boca (no me pidas que lo demuestre si no estás listo para reír).

¿Algo que nunca debes olvidar de mí? Mi personalidad. Eso es lo que me hace ser yo.

Actualmente navegando mi primer año de preparatoria, persiguiendo sueños y siendo “seriamente poco seria” con la vida.
